Relative Molecular Mass 160.07　Black solid powder with metal luster. Chemical formula MoS2, melting point 1185℃, density 4.80g/cm, Moh's hardness 1.0～1.5. Breaks down at 1370℃. Molybdenum disulfide is insoluble in water, soluble in aqua regia and boiled concentrated sulfuric acid.

Use:

(1)Can be widely used in automobile industry and mechanical industry as favorable solid lubricating material.

(2)The equipment has excellent lubricating property.

(3)It has increase the lubricating property and reduce friction if used in lubricating oil, lubricating grease, teflon, nylon and paraffin wax, etc.
