Property: Molecular weight: 104.917. Green cubic crystal with metallic luster. Relative density 8.47, insoluble in cold and hot hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid, soluble in hot mixed solution of hydrofluoric and nitric acid. It is stable at the temperature of 1000~1100℃. Niobium carbide is easily soluble in titanium carbide, zirconium carbide, tungsten carbide and other compounds.
